MORRIS & COMPANY is
Richard's breathtaking landscapes reflect the radiance of light dancing from a simple rock, pond of water, a tuft of golden grass, within the diverse California landscape.
Born in Fort Worth Texas, he received his Master of Fine Arts in Painting at UCSB and lived in Santa Barbara until recently. He continues to paint en plein air, but does most of his large paintings in his Novato studio.
pleased to offer paintings by Bay Area artist Richard Schloss. His work is included in many public & private collections worldwide, including Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, The Santa Barbara Historical Society, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, The Hyatt Regency Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco, and the Bechtel Corporation San Francisco.

Mustardseed & Moonshine was founded by Kate Carlyle in Cape Town, South Africa in 1992 to celebrate her love of the botanical form. The idea was to make beautiful ceramic flowers that were both usable and lasting, flowers that were meticulously crafted, and yet simultaneously robust and functional.
Although Mustardseed & Moonshine has grown over the years, it remains a studio of dedicated artists and the pride that goes into each piece is tangible. The artists who hand-make all of these delicate flowers from Ramekins to Salad Bowls in high-fired earthenware, work with love and dedication to bring a truly original piece to you. All our work is dishwasher, oven and microwave proof.
Training is a key part of our philosophy. Each person is equipped with the necessary skills to become a valuable member of the team, specialising in a particular field.
